At the museum, the hands-on exhibits were the big hit – sine waves of sand on treadmill belts, a spinning dish on which to counter-spin small tires that would slowly work their way to the inside of the track if they didn’t go shooting out of orbit, an orbiting space shuttle that would catch the marble you launched from the center of the orbit, if your timing was perfect, another shuttle that was propelled by ejected marbles, and a video camera that superimposed your shadow onto a TV screen alongside other objects.<\/p>\n
