Larry’s Beans<\/a> and another brewery are doing, thinking it was Carolina Brewing Company. That was enough to tempt Larry and me into heading over this past Saturday. The mistake was a good one, and the free beer was tasty. The only problem is that we remember to do this too infrequently.<\/p>\nI brought home an Imperial Stout. Beer this fresh is just delicious. They only ever use 4 ingredients (tapwater, barley, hops, yeast). They pass around a jar of hops and a jar of barley to smell and taste. This is hard to beat: the Carolina Brewing Company is virtually a stone’s-throw from the house, and they have free beer- err, “tours” – every Saturday.
