Don’t know if ya can call it a party, there were only 3 of us, but…<\/p>\n

Chau gave Jason and me a nice Tribes ][ clinic. I was on my afore-mentioned TI4200 board<\/a>, and not to be outdone, Jason picked one up that very night (along with a $15(!!) copy of T2). Despite being completely out-GPU’ed, Chau skooled us real good.<\/p>\n

The most fun was joining Chau’s MUFF<\/a> server and finding one of her fellow tribe members to triple-team. The three of us kept getting the poor guy in the middle of massive crossfire. Alas, as soon as another buddy of his showed up, it was all over. :P<\/p>\n

We had to fight T2 for two hours to get it installed for Jason. Turns out there is an installation bug that causes some files to be dropped during install, and the only way to tell is that the game exits (seemingly randomly) when it can’t find a file. If you install a patch after installing, the T2 install fix does not work. SO… for all you newbies out there, on a clean system, install T2, run the install fix, register, THEN patch it up.
