Sure glad they did, though &#8211; we had a blast.  The main event was Reiley&#8217;s confirmation, a big day for all of us.  Along the way we managed to&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>go out to Mellow Mushroom, order Thai Thai&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>have a cookout with dogs, brats, corn, s&#8217;mores<\/li>\n<li>fix up pop&#8217;s boxcarkid.com website<\/li>\n<li>watch Sherlock Holmes (aaaawesome!)<\/li>\n<li>explore the garden, walking CAREFULLY down the steeply sloped back yard<\/li>\n<li>invent a great new family game, GRAB BAG!\u00a0 :P<\/li>\n<li>have a ton of laughs\u00a0 :&gt;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was pretty nervous about my mom and dad coming to visit, didn&#8217;t want them to have to make the long trip.
