WOW major virtualbox shenanigans
\ni seem to have broken my good boxes with something from this list:
\n1) upgraded ubuntu to 18.04
\n2) kept\tcompton\tbut it is not needed now that we have wayland compositor
\n3) installed virtualbox* packages to try to fix\tclock
\nafter I\tuninstalled virtualbox and compton, ONE\tof them\tcame back to life (but not the other)
\nthe other is having ssh\tproblems of some kind that cause immediate systemd\tproblems<\/p>\n
while investigating, we\tgot LOTS of good progress on setup_linux.sh KEEP GOING<\/p>\n
