How is stuff like that even possible?  I&#8217;m continually amazed that Thunderbird doesn&#8217;t get more love from Mozilla.  Fix it like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Close Thunderbird<\/li>\n<li>Get the path to firefox with [which firefox]<\/li>\n<li>Find the Thunderbird preferences file, something like this:\n<pre><code>\/home\/user\/.thunderbird\/####.default\/prefs.js<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Add this:\n<pre><code>user_pref(\"network.protocol-handler.app.http\", \"\/path\/to\/firefox\");\r\nuser_pref(\"network.protocol-handler.app.https\", \"\/path\/to\/firefox\");\r\nuser_pref(\"network.protocol-handler.app.ftp\", \"\/path\/to\/firefox\");<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ahhh much better.
