To lazy-unmount samba partitions:
sudo umount -l /spiceflow/bitpost
sudo umount -l -t cifs -a # be careful to specify type or ALL drives will unmount!
This is important eg when you take viper off home LAN - otherwise the OS locks up trying to get to the mount points.

Server

Install

sudo apt install samba

Configure

See /etc/samba/smb.cnf
