Synaptic driver (for trackpads etc)

See wallee and viper development/config/(wallee/viper)/ubuntu/etc/X11.. for good existing settings.

Copy them to your new machine settings and tweak.

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-mtrack
# use synclient to determine what works best
su -
synclient -l # lists all params
synclient PalmDetect=1 # temporarily change settings
# save what you like, here:
