Cursor is a vscode clone dedicated to AI coding, nice!!
It is deployed as an all-in-one app bundle, hrmph, configure it in Ubuntu like this.
To select the AI models that will assist you while coding:
0 run cursor, import vscode settings (but not projects) 1 run cursor (it's an all-included app file, see ~/app/cursor) 2 Settings > Models > select your models, there is an insane amount of coverage here!
Specifically for Gemini:
0 run cursor, import vscode settings (but not projects) 1 go to google ai studio, get an API key 2 run cursor (it's an all-included app file, see ~/app/cursor) 3 Settings > Models > disable all but latest gemini add API key to gemini
