- Store your raw video there:
/spiceflow/projects/MyVideoProject/source
- Play the raw video in VLC to vet it, as needed
- Trim and re-code the video in HandBrake. You should trim out all footage that will not be used in the end result.
- Play each video file in VLC, and make note of the timestamp range(s) to keep.
- Choose a good encoding, like 1080pfast.
- Click Range: Seconds, and set timestamps for the range you want.
- Hit Start
- If there is more than one section in the video, repeat, changing the output name first so it is not overwritten, then the timestamp, then Start
- Blender and Davinci Resolve both offer advanced video editing. Blender is easier to set up and I'm more familiar with it. Need more time on both.
