Install

sudo apt install gajim

This includes the OMEMO plugin (I didn't need to go here.)

Configure

XMPP

• Find a free XMPP (Jabber) server. I used kode because it was in the US on this list. Register here.

OMEMO

I have yet to find a server that allows me to enable OMEMO in a group chat. Gajim always says "group must be non-anonymous and member-only" even though I'd set it that way.
