Fuck these guys and their senseless bans... moving on...

Love it or hate it, these guys are open to the public with a fairly low bar, they support game controllers (a Dan requirement! lol), and have created a solid world build. The admins and the law can be UPTIGHT! But the players are all fab.

Install

Install red dead or red dead online via steam
Install Discord, set up an account
Install RedM, link it to Discord when it starts

Setting up a new Discord/RedM account

You need linked Discord and RedM accounts
Ensure you have a clean Discord account for this (not previously banned, lol!); register if need be
Open Discord > Settings > Authorized Apps > Remove any old FiveM authorizations
Close RedM and Discord
Reopen Discord, then RedM; RedM should prompt to authenticate via Discord

Start RedM, disconnect from old cre account, click Link Account, Register

- Sign out of Rockstar Game Launcher, sign back in with [email protected]
okay that didn't do it, let's try changing my STEAM USERNAME from moodboom! shit i don't want to but whatever. apparently there may be a list of "aliases" and maybe it will remember the old one... here we go!
- No luck, i swear i saw the DRB startup page say it was checking *moodboom*... why? then i recorded the screen and it only claimed it was checking "badyancy"... i guess i may need a whole new steam account and rebuy the game?
